We stopped off in Valldemossa on our trip along the coast. Plenty of shopping opportunities here - although almost 100 Euro for a white cheesecloth shirt seemed a bit topside! Maybe local property owners Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones would see nothing out of the ordinary at these prices?
The cobbled streets were busy with tourists even in late October, and even if the shirt seller was finding business a little quiet, the cafes and restaurants were doing a good days business.
You can take a walk around the Cartuja de Valldemossa monastery, the tower of which should lead you to it. You can visit the gardens and take a nosey peek at the backs of some of the houses which front onto the quaint streets.
