Port d' Andratx, Port d'Andraitx.
Port d'Andratx was one of our favourite places on the island: a very upmarket, beautiful village, combining a real, working, fishing port with a gorgeous little beach and marina. The cafes, bars, shops and hotels are not big and brash, but tasteful and understated.
This is not the place for karaoke, discos, nightclubs, theme parks and water sports. It is however, perfect for chilling. Apparently, some celebrities have a place here: Catherine Zeta-Jones for example. Peter Stringfellow was seen here on the same day we were visiting. We missed him. He missed us.
