Palma, Castle de Bellver, Bellver Castle.
This circular castle is perched on top of the westernmost edge of the Bay of Palma.
We visited it by taking the open top bus ride around the city. It is a huge place, built like a Polo mint, with a hollow, circular courtyard and three cylindrical towers.
The views from here down to the Bay of Palma are fantastic, as this panorama shows.
