This resort has the air of a faded tourist destination. Whereas it was once a thriving resort with accommodation for over 30,000, it is now primarily a residential area for the commuter belt to Palma.
The beach is lovely, backed by a fringe of palm trees and the area still has many hotels, restaurants and bars. It is quite built up but not as lively as the neighbouring resorts of Magaluf and Palma Nova.
