Cala D'Or his a large resort with four different beaches, Cala Ferrara is right at at the end of the town and quite a long walk from the majority of the shops, bars and restaurants.
As you can see, it has a lovely long beach, flanked by huge hotels and plenty of holiday accommodation. To reach the beach from the road, we came down a very steep lane, which would be difficult with a buggy and virtually impossible with a wheelchair. The only other way we could see was via steep steps.
There are trees and bushes here, providing shade at the beach and you can play volleyball or hire canoes and pedaloes. To reach the town, most people make use of the bus or resort beach train which spends all day going between the beaches and main shopping areas of Cala D'Or.
