These streets may look quiet and empty, but the shot was taken right at the end of the season (Autumn 2008), so don't be fooled! This place is choc-a-block with cafes, restaurants, bars and shops. There is no shortgae of opportunities to shop, eat and drink. And just in case you needed a little persuading, these guys stand outside many of the larger restaurants, coaxing you in. Many streets are pedestrianised and suitable for wheelchairs and buggies.
There are three or four beaches all close to the town and a little beach train which collects up tourists and takes them from beach to beach or into the shopping area or marina. I would imagine it gets really busy here in Peak season as it is a great spot for a holiday.
