The marina at Cala D'Or is a long, sheltered inlet, whose steep sides are clad with restaurants and the Cala D'Or yachting club. Although we came here for a look around (at the seriously expensive boats!), we assumed the restaurants would be over-priced.
We were wrong.
We had a gorgeous, romantic meal here overlooking the moonlit marina, with fantastic service and real, authentic Majorcan food (which was very hard to find on the island). It certainly wasn't cheap, but we had paid far, far more for much, much worse at many of the restaurants in the town itself and on many beaches.
Highly recommended.
