We stayed here, at this beach and hotel for about 5 days in Autumn 2008.
It was a great place. The hotel gardens open right onto the beach, which is idyllic. The bay is small, sandy and quiet, with a backdrop of trees and other hotel accommodation. Cala D'Or itself is right on your doorstep with a huge range of shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and night life easily within walking distance.
We also found that it was a good base from which to explore the east of the island. The roads were well signed and sometimes even resembled the map! Definitely well recommended.
