Santa Ponsa is a highly developed resort with a strong Scottish and Irish theme. It has a huge number of cafes, bars, restaurants and supermarkets, to appeal to the self catering tourists. We saw "Real Irish Pubs" everywhere! The beach is large and sandy, but was quite crowded when we were there in Peak season. The water is warm and shallow, providing safe swimming. Santa Ponsa appeals more to families than its neighbours, Magaluf and Palma Nova.
