	Peguera, Paguera. Majorca, Spain, Balearic Islands Peguera, Paguera The resorts from Peguera in the west, around the bay of Palma are the oldest and most developed tourist resorts on the island. Whilst not as busy as its noisier, brasher neighbours of Magalluf and Palma Nova, Peguera is certainly not the place to go if you are looking for a peaceful holiday. Peguera has 3 fantastic, sandy beaches lined with bars and cafes. Behind this is the main shopping street, which goes on forever with identical gift shops, bars, restaurants. It is often referred to as "Little Germany" by the English speaking residents of Mallorca. It was extremely busy when we visited, in Peak season. Many of the hotels are situated towards the back of the town, giving great views over the town and towards the sea, but this could present transport problems for some holiday makers.
