Majorca, Spain, Balearic Islands Pollensa Son San Jordi Hotel The old town of Pollensa is situated about 5 km inland from the port and is a lovely old town with narrow streets. We arrived here in the Fiesta week at the end of July and could hardly squeeze our hire car up the streets, as they were so jam packed with parked cars. Parking here was a nightmare! The town dates back to the 18th century and the square is supposed to be gorgeous, but we never got chance to find out on this trip. Maybe we will be back!
