 Port de Pollensa, Puerto Pollenca, promenade and sand artThis resort is in the far northeastern corner of Mallorca, diagonally opposite Palma, but it takes little more than an hour to drive there from the airport. The curving, sandy beach is well served with bars, restaurants, hotels and shops, mostly along one side of a pedestrianised main street, facing the sea. It is developed, but not huge and sprawling, like its noisier, brasher cousins in the south west of the island. You can eat from a range of Indian, Chinese and burger bars but there are relatively few restaurants with a Spanish or Mallorcan menu. MORE... |
